A festive Christmas tree-shaped brownie dip topped with fresh fruit, perfect for holiday gatherings. This easy dessert combines a fudgy brownie base with strawberries, kiwi, and blueberries for a stunning and delicious centerpiece.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2–3 fresh kiwi, peeled and sliced into half-moons
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup melted white chocolate (optional)
  • Graham crackers or pretzel sticks (for serving)
  • Additional fresh fruit for dipping (apple slices, pear slices, banana chunks)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt ½ cup unsalted butter in 30-second intervals. Let cool for 2 minutes.
  3. Add 1 cup granulated sugar to the melted butter and whisk until smooth and glossy. Add 2 room-temperature eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, whisk vigorously until thick and pale, about 1 minute.
  4. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together ⅔ cup all-purpose flour, ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon baking powder.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and fold gently with a rubber spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 18-22 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Cool brownie in pan on a wire rack for 30 minutes at room temperature, then refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  8. Using parchment paper, lift brownie out of pan and place on a cutting board. Cut into a triangle (Christmas tree) shape using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  9. Transfer brownie tree to a serving platter with the point facing up.
  10. Decorate with fruit: arrange kiwi half-moons along edges for branches, place strawberry slices across the tree like ornaments, and dot blueberries randomly.
  11. Dust entire tree with powdered sugar using a fine-mesh strainer. Drizzle with melted white chocolate if desired. Serve immediately with graham crackers, pretzel sticks, and extra fruit for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overbake; brownie should be fudgy. Chill before cutting for clean edges. Pat fruit dry to prevent powdered sugar from dissolving. Can be made ahead: bake brownie up to 2 days in advance, wrap and refrigerate. Cut and decorate just before serving.
