Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large Honeycrisp apples, thinly sliced
  • 2 ripe but firm Bosc pears, sliced
  • 1 cup red seedless grapes, left in small clusters
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 cup fresh figs, halved if large (optional)
  • 1 large pomegranate, seeds removed
  • 1 cup dried apricots
  • 8 ounces sharp white cheddar, sliced into thin triangles
  • 4 ounces goat cheese log, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup honey, for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup Marcona almonds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas), toasted
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Edible flowers (optional)
  • Cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces

Instructions

  1. Make the honey-yogurt dip first. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Add a pinch of flaky sea salt. Set aside in the fridge.
  2. Wash and dry all the fruit thoroughly. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel. Spread blackberries on a paper towel-lined plate to air dry.
  3. Slice the apples and pears into thin wedges, about 1/4 inch thick. Leave the skin on. If desired, toss apple slices with a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
  4. Prep the pomegranate: cut in half, hold cut-side down over a bowl, and whack the back with a wooden spoon to release seeds. Alternatively, use pre-seeded containers.
  5. Halve large figs; leave small ones whole. Cut goat cheese log into rounds, about 1/2 inch thick. Slice cheddar into thin triangles right before serving.
  6. Arrange the board: place the honey-yogurt dip in one corner and a small bowl of honey in another. Add goat cheese rounds in a cluster and fan out cheddar slices nearby.
  7. Add fruit in sections, grouping similar colors together. Fill gaps with dried apricots, almonds, and pumpkin seeds.
  8. Finish with garnishes: tuck rosemary sprigs between fruit clusters, scatter cinnamon stick pieces, and place edible flowers gently on top.
  9. Drizzle honey over the goat cheese and apple slices just before serving.

Notes

Choose fruit that is ripe but still firm. Pull cheese out of fridge 20 minutes before assembling. For dairy-free, skip cheese and double nuts/seeds; swap yogurt dip for date caramel. For nut-free, skip almonds and add more seeds or dark chocolate shards. Apples can be sliced up to 2 hours ahead if tossed with lemon juice. Do not drizzle honey or add fresh herbs until right before serving.
