A creamy, tangy, and spicy buffalo chicken dip featuring blue cheese crumbles, perfect for parties and game nights. Served warm with crunchy celery sticks for a fresh contrast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (280g) shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken recommended)
  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) buffalo sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/2 cup (75g) blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) ranch dressing
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • Celery sticks, washed and cut into sticks for serving
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with ranch dressing until smooth and creamy (2-3 minutes with an electric mixer or 5 minutes by hand).
  3. Add buffalo sauce and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Fold in shredded chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and shredded cheddar cheese gently to keep some blue cheese texture.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned on the edges.
  7. Let the dip rest for 5 minutes after baking. Garnish with extra blue cheese crumbles and chopped green onions if desired.
  8. Serve warm with fresh celery sticks and your favorite chips.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for a smooth dip. Microwave cream cheese for 15 seconds if too firm. Adjust buffalo sauce to control spice level. Shred chicken into bite-sized pieces for better texture. Bake until bubbly but not dry. Prepare celery sticks and chicken ahead to save time.
